Data Accessibility

How do you format a dataset so it can be understood by a blind person, deaf person, or other disabled individual? This workshop reviews why accessible research data matters, general accessibility principles, and how to make various data files (spreadsheets, images, etc.) more accessible for everyone.

Data Visualization

This workshop covers how to choose the right chart type for your data and how good design choices will make your chart easier to understand. The workshop focuses on visualization best practices, independent of any specific visualization software, and consists of lecture and hands on activities.
